DONATION CAUSE

This year we are Supporting the CCV.

Centro Cultural Vallartense is a community venue inside the Cuale island, an independent local source managed by volunteers, artists and philanthropists, with a mission of creating local social programs, focused on Art, Nature and Community. For more than 30 years, they have been hosting, performing and working on multiple cultural activities, with almost null support from the government or official institutions. Their only support has come from private initiative, local business and tourism, however the CCV has public recognition and it is mapped by SIC México [Sistema de Información Cultural], ergo, this is a solid project, very respected by the vallartenses, the artists and authorities.

All their activities occur on the island in its green areas, surrounded by the life and sounds of the Cuale river. Each project is and defined by the community needs, social movements to forecast the natural seasons, recovering areas, herbal agriculture, ecological works.

Now we, (FUTURAMAR, ART DISTRICT, along with art collectors and the general public), will all join forces to contribute to the benefit of this solid-active community, strengthen their arts and education programs with a green care profile and dynamic ecological purposes.

MISSION

Within art and culture, we often observe the most vulnerable parts of the population depicted in images and as concepts on display, for analysis or criticism and often posing in the nude.

We are on a mission to include the most vulnerable within the very fabric of the art-world as an integral part of a vital business ecosystem.

This is an invitation to everyone to include more women, queers, and other gender identities into all the art-world roles as: artists, activists, those active in expressing themselves in all disciplines, museum workers, service providers, collectors, curators, gallery workers, etc.

It is when we all have transgressive empathy that the entire rainbow can shine for all to enjoy. Where can you include more color in your business ecosystem?
